I spend most of my time in my room writing poetry, drawing, or
painting, and generally not fitting in. It doesn't bother me until I have to go to the horrid prision they like to call
'school'.

"Ventration"
Don't turn your head
As I walk past you
You don't know me
You don't know my reasons
My family, my
life
Did you ever realize
How small your hands are
When you're defending yourself
Under your father's anger
Did
you ever feel so small
Like everything was your fault
When you escape your own body
While your brother is taking
it over
Did you ever know for a fact
How terrible you are
For a fact, she told you so
Your own mother wont look
at you
Did you ever hold your best friend's hand
While she bought her first pregnancy test
Just barely sixteen, her
whole life rests
On one line or two
Your tears fall one last time
You know she's grown up (ready or not)
And she's
left you behind
Maybe I'm not a strange as you all thought
I have a reason to always look down
There is one simple
difference between you and me
I'm real
You're not
